Adding A Printer To A Laptop?
Alright so i have a dell laptop and the printer(dell photo aio 924) is connected to my other computer through usb, i was wondering if i could print directly from my laptop. I’ve tried adding it already but it couldn’t find it the printer, and i’ve already set the printer on my computer to shared. Alsoo, i’m pretty sure it’s not like an old driver because they’re both xp.
my thoughts were that my laptop can’t connect to a printer if it only connects through usb.. but im not sure.

of course a USB printer can be connect with any computer. may be this issue is of older driver version. download updated driver for that printer from dell’s site and install it. http://www.dell.com/
Check all the sharing settings. there must be something wrong.
