Mr.Frog is right.Drivers are not your problem. The Cd won’t even run on a non HP computer and you can only use the product key on the original hardware
No you can’t. Your laptop probably had the Vista logo sticker with the “key”. When you try to install the HP Vista on your self-built system it may get on the drive but once you try to enter that key on the system it will reject because the key is tied into the HP laptop (by license from MS). I tried something similar when my EMachine fried, I got throught the install but Windows tried to register and it failed with the key from EMachines.
It won’t work because the software you want to transfer is licenced for use on a HP machine, not to your home brewed one.
No for 2 reasons.First the HP CD is tied to the original hardware and your copy will lock on activation and second you can’t even go with the installation when the CD detects that this is not a HP bios
You can install the windows vista without a problem, but after you log on for the first time you will have to install the drivers for the computer.
Drivers wont install if not found on the hardware, you can install Vista using OEM CD, more important question is would Microsoft activate it for you after installation.
Yes, as long as it meets the minimum requirements for the OS.
u can install bt make sure, u have driver cd for ur desktop. Then when u select formating just completly delete d partian and create again then install vista i hope it will help u.
Have problems you might. You need Vista driver for hard drive in custom built desktop. Then work better should.
yes you can
