Can You Help Me, Everything On New Computer Monitor Is Smushed And Stretched Out?
I need some help. I got a new Dell computer monitor to go with my Dell computer and I went from a 17 inch to a 19 inch screen. The new one is more rectangle, (to me it looks like a miniature TV) and the old more square, Everything on the screen is all smushed and stretched out. I’ve played around with the controls, but it still looks awful. To me, the images on the screen looks like an old TV episode that someone has gone back and attempted to make into wide-screen, if that makes any sense. The new monitor came with a CD-ROM driver. Should I install whatever software is on it? I figured both components were made by Dell so I did not bother.
If you got any suggestions, tips, thoughts, hints, ideas or whatever, shoot them my way. I would greatly appreciate it!

First: do you have Windows XP? Windows Vista? Windows 7?
It seems you have a screen resolution problem.
click on the link below to adjust your screen resolution, whether you have XP, Vista or 7 it might be some what the same.
