i went to mycomputer>properties>hardware>device manager
there was noo network adapter it said other devices and there was a question mark on them and a little exlamation mark on them too they were ethernet coontroller and more but i just need a driver for the ethernet controller plz help pretty plz
So here’s the deal… it came installed with Windows Vista. I took out that hard drive, put a new 500 G one in, and put Windows XP Home Edition on it. I am missing drivers for these things (as stated in Device Manager):
“Ethernet Controller”
“Mass Storage Controller”
“Modem Device on High Definition Audio Bus”
“Network Controller”
“SM Bus Controller”
I have contacted both Acer and Windows technical support. They’re pretty much useless to me.
