Help Me Find A Driver So I Can Stay On Xp?
I have a dell inspiron 1521 and my sound driver is not there when i switch to windows XP. I have installed the driver from dell.com and i get the error that its not correct driver for my system. I have been told that its the modem driver and the sound driver bundled together. I have a PCI device in my device manager that has a “?” by it. Does anybody have any idea what i am supposed to do as even when i search myself manually for the driver it just wont accept it.

First of all go to control panel -> Device manger .
Check if any of them have a warning sign ( looks like yellow triangle ) . If there is right click on it and press uninstall . restart your PC and check your sound .
Tell me how it goes , if you still have the same problem contact me through my email (check my profile ) .
