fax modem came with computer. any ideas? new drivers are not installing.

If it came with the PC, why would you need new drivers? Did you plug it into a phone line? Wont work without one!

are you using windows vista, please tell me NO because i have a dv9000 wich is abaout the same but bigger and when i upgraded to vista my modem doesn’t work anymore so it seems that hp doesn’t have the rigt drivers yet or maybe the modem is not compatible with the new version of windows
