Hp Dv2000 Laptop Changes Resolution After Coming Out Of Hibernation?
Ive had the pc for over a year and never had a problem with it then recently I noticed after I came out of hibernation that the resolution or the fonts and text on the pc would seem washed out or “hazy” (very hard to read). I then tried to go back a couple of weeks with recovery but the problem was still there then I reinstalled the display drivers and it went away and went back to normal. Then I went back into hibernation and it came back. Then I decided to format my pc to factory default and it went away then after coming back from hibernation it was there. So im thinking it has something to do with hibernation…? Anyway, I have to keep reinstalling the display drivers and im not sure why all of a sudden it started doing this. Anyone have any ideas?
Im running on Vista premium. Everything else works fine.

Hey, I had the same problem, and mine fixed with this.
Go to your power options, and click “change advance power setting”, and go to the sleep options area. Make sure that “no” is selected for hybrid sleep.
I don’t know why this solved it becuase it changes an option for sleep mode, but I haven’t had any problems with it since.
