My Compaq Laptop’s Wireless Adapter Stopped Working It Says It Needs To Be Installed And Configured, Help!?
I have a Compaq Presario F600 laptop. It got its internet from a Linksys router. It seems as though after renewing the virus protection on the PC connected to the router my laptop’s wireless network adapter no longer works. It cannot detect my home’s wireless network, and the diagnostics window says that my computer does not have a network adapter installed and configured. But I do have a network adapter, and it shows up on the device manager. I checked the drivers and it says they are functioning and updated. The network adapter is an NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller. Also, the wireless switch on the outside of my laptop is stuck on off. Help, please!
