I have an Asus F3-SV laptop (running vista) i bought it close to a year and a half ago, the other day it was acting up and i had to shut down using the power button. When restarting it began checking files which took a fair while and when it finally got into the user account it took ages to show my task bar and desktop items.
Since then i haven’t been able to connect to the internet.
I am assuming the laptop has lost connection somehow to the wireless hardware because i have tried installing new drivers (from asus website) and these haven’t changed the situation.
When i hold my curser over the wireless network it says “Connection Status: Unknown, The dependency service or group failed to start.”
Any help would be appreciated as i do not wish to re format my computer.
By the way i have no system restore point created.
