the game runs but it cannot be played due to bad graphics.It is above the minimum requirements needed to run the game as suggested by GTA website. do u think the graphic card is low. the total resources the game graphic preference shows are 235. what is ur total?. And i have got a laptop so can the laptop graphic card be changed? The card driver is not updated (of 2007) do u think updating driver will help?

Hello fellow helpers. I have a laptop with nvidia geforce 8600m GS video card inside and i am facing a big problem. When i try to start my PC it starts, only with problem that i see horizontal and vertical dashes colored in many colors. When i see “welcome” screen, dashes disappear. Also i am not able to install drivers for video card from CD that came with motherboard drivers. Every-time i install drivers i get blue screen error and windows crashes. I have tried to install from nvidia website but when i install them and laptop restarts, windows do not start. Btw, windows are fresh so the problem is not caused by windows.

When my HP Pavillion Laptop comes out of sleep and/or hibernation, it frequently has a screen flash and the bubble comes up and says something along the lines of my display driver temporarily crashed, and has been restored. This did not happen until I upgraded to Windows 7, and Windows Driver Manager says the driver is up to date. Does anyone know how to fix this?
