Vga To Rca Adapter Problem (dell Laptop To Flatscreen)?
just bought this adapter to go from my vga (yeah i dont have svideo somehow on my laptop) and it splits into either a svideo (witch is female and so is my tv’s of cource) or a video rca cable. i tried going from vga to rca into the tv, went to hit the crt/lcd button and it said nothing was hooked up, and couldnt figure it out in ATI’s options. do i need a driver or something? not sure what to do but i want to use my computer through my tv

is your tv set on right video source. VGA is only a video source. Audio will have to come from headset jack. Easier to use HDMI out on labtop if you have it. audio and video in 1 cable. Of course tv must have HDMI in.
