Windows 7 64 Bit Games Trouble?!?

I had recently installed windows 7 64 bit on my pc build
other specs:
Core 2 Duo @ 2.66
4gb @ 1066 ram
8800 GTS 512 256bit
350gb & 1tb hard drives
gigabyte motherboard
practically nothing installed so far..
as of 12/26 everything was working great, then yesterday 12/27 everything went down the hole
the only programs installed on 12/27 were
Steam
and Left 4 Dead 2
Riva Tuner (12/28/09)
I have been playing Borderlands since 12/25 and it was running perfect until yesterday
and now any game i start will crash within about 30 seconds of game play and borderlands gives me a blue screen now when it crashes and restarts the computer
PLEASE help!!
i have nvidia physx 9.09.0814 and nvidia drivers 1.10 (version) and 195.62 graphics driver for windows 7 64 bit installed
Help please.

    Make sure that your power supply can handle the load. It sounds like your system requires a lot of juice.
    I’ve installed W764bit in my Windows Vista 32 laptop, and I’ve found out that in many cases W7 requires exclusive drivers (for video cards and such) Make sure you check your peripherals’ manufacturer websites and download the latest drivers for W7 64 bit. Some 32bit programs work, but others don’t–itunes is a good example, as I had to download the 64-bit-itunes from Apple cause the old one didn’t work. The same thing happened with ESET Nod32.

    What exactly does the BSOD say? It’s probably a video driver failure, but to be sure, see what file is causing the BSOD. If it is a video driver failure, go the nvidia’s website and redownload (or upgrade, if one is available), your video driver.
